How CM has grown
Open innovation consulting begins
CM Venture began advising multinationals on open innovation in China, including Clorox, General Mills and Air Products.
CM Venture Fund I
Launched Fund I (RMB), a seed fund investing in overseas returnee talent.
A foundation for innovation
Launched the Shanghai Strategic Emerging Industries Foundation, which has organized Innovation China Conferences since 2015.
CM Fund II: corporates join
Launched Fund II (RMB), joined by BASF, SABIC, GE, Henkel, BAT and Samsung. CM began open innovation advisory for its corporate LPs.
CM Fund III
Launched Fund III (USD) with additional corporates joining, and strengthened open innovation consulting for corporate LPs.
A new fund. A new Base.
Launched the CM Evergreen Fund and moved into a 1,700 m² Shanghai office, providing a base for work, meetings and the CM community.
